Thoughts on “Wait for Me at Udagawachou” (aka “Udagawachou de Mattete yo”) The story held surprisingly close to the manga. Well, as close as you could get without being rated R or above lol; As a former stan of them in the early to mid 2000s, I seriously entertained the idea that the music Momose was listening to was Dir en grey.

Siko Oct 13 2018 10:28 am I think Momose is really aggressive, creepy and violent to say the least. Can't really understand if Yashiro was just happy someone accepted him the way he is and felt it was love. Anyway, I don't really see anything good in Momose forcing himself onto Yashiro and getting things to go his way.
This is one of my favourite movies. I found it a really interesting and watchable treatment of a developing gay relationship between two boys unsure of their sexuality and wanting to explore in the face of the usual prejudice and snide remarks of other adolescent boys in a school.
